• 16/09/20- La protonthérapie, succès belge pour traiter les cancers, arrive à Louvain
La protonthérapie, technique de radiothérapie qui permet de traiter des tumeurs cancéreuses sans trop “déborder” sur les tissus avoisinants, a révolutionné le traitement des cancers. Ce traitement rendu plus accessible par l’UCLouvain, pourra traiter un cancer sur 5 d’ici 2030. Soit près de 300 000 patients dans le monde. Une véritable succès story.
