The cluster and its members, thanks to the excellent collaboration with AWEX, have attended major international fairs such as BioEurope Spring and Fall, BioUS, BioJapan and Ausbiotech, and will be even more present in 2019 since the arrival, a few months ago, of its new Director of International Affairs, Marc Dechamps. He is seeking to further showcase the cluster and its ecosystem on the international scene.
In 2019, we want to build closer ties with different networks and associations like the Council of European Bioregions (CEBR) and with other European clusters like Medicen, with which BioWin will develop a joint membership system in 2019, BioM, Biocat and Lyonbiopole.
Through BioWin Day 2018, which addressed the topic of artificial intelligence, the cluster forged special ties with Quebec, one of the world's best ecosystems in this field. Relations with the Université de Laval, McGill and IVADO will be further strengthened in 2019 to create new opportunities for partnerships with leading scientists in the field of artificial intelligence.
