On October 26, BioWin, MecaTech and WSL, as founders of the MedTech Wallonia initiative, organized their first event for healthcare professionals, innovative companies, academic units and research centers active in MedTech.
The morning session gathered participants around the following presentations:
- MedTech Wallonia, instructions for use
- Presentation by the founding members
- The value chain of the MedTech / digital health ecosystem and WSL’s support in MedTech
- Presentation of MecaTech’s services in MedTech
- Presentation of BioWin’s services in MedTech
- AWEX, a support to the internationalization of the Walloon MedTech sector
- “MAGIA project, the European MedTech Alliance dedicated to supporting the internationalization of SMEs
The afternoon was dedicated to the presentation of the MecaTech-BioWin clusters’ call for proposals in digital health, followed by workshops whose objective was to generate new project ideas or to enrich existing projects!
